FeedBurner like many good internet tools was acquired recently by Google and is being integrated by them, they created also an automatic feeds burner like the one for the secret marketing links blog feed . The Podcast and blog market is changing quickly with the change in Technology from the Web2.0. Web based tools are capturing market share since social networks are gaining power as a place to consume and distribute podcasts and blogs, soon you will also see the same happening with videocasts. Meta data is essential for this discovery and it is quite easy to setup your blog to be indexed well with modrewritten URL’s and tagging of the messages. You have to Syndicate. And to Ping using tools like web 2 submitter or sites like Auto Pinger http://autopinger.com/ .
Did you know that 800 thousand feeds are managed by FeedBurner. When it come to podcast feeds 75%is in hands of iTunes, the remaining 25% referrals and repeated content Google, My Yahoo, Miro, Democracy player .
Syndication is done by referrals, and some people will rebroadcast your feeds, they will show fragment of pages via services, apps, etc.
So if you Blog also do an auto ping or use a tool like web2submitter
