Discover the most popular keywords with Wordtracker

Wordtracker Customers Get More Visits to their Websites… Find Out How!wordtracker

This is a tool I use every week. Why ? Because it allows me to discover keywords that are not saturated. It is very easy to use, and the trial version is free. Just give them your email t get a login link (they never spammed me), and give them one or two words to research, and they will show you more in a second column. You tick the one you like, and once you have selected 30 keywords or keywords phrases, the wordtracker system will rank them by counting how many people looked for that keyword, and how many websites are competing. All words with a “KEI” ranking higher than 400 are winners, and you’ll have god chances to end in the first 10 results if your site and content are a little bit good.

It is much better than Overture because it also shows you the depth of the competition. Why have a keywords with 10,000 searches if you will be lost between 200,000 other sites. It is better to have a “long tail keyword string” with 47 searches every day.

Also this tool helps you to find keywords for Google Adwords, or to find keywords to use as title for your pages, and related keywords to the subjects you are working one.

And if you enjoy the trial give them a paid chance to open the door of even more powerfull tools to create your keyword lists. Read more at  Wordtracker

Yes, Google Admits Torching Your PageRank
Yes, Google Admits Torching Your PageRank

What is wrong with paid linking and selling links on your site ?

By David Norden, october 30, 2007

For sure Google financial interests are getting more and more in the way of a logical good search result with “algorithms”.

Where I can understand that they don’t enjoy that directories with high PR are selling links on there sites (but who is reading these directories if it isn’t the search engines ??)

I wouldn’t see wrong doing if I was selling a link on a page going to a site with related content.

After all this is why we are doing business, no ? Of course Google can see this as something that will keep adsense clients away … since websites with a good ranking don’t need to pay with adword to get a visitor.

If the content of the page is not relevant to the link I usually put the tag rel=”nofollow” like in this code example:

<a target=”_blank” href=”http://www.webpronews.com:80/insiderreports/2007/10/29/yes-google-admits-torching-your-pagerank” title=”webpronews” rel=”nofollow”>

So if you want to increase your PageRank and don’t want to be penalysed for getting some paid link, use from time to time the rel=”nofollow” tag when the content is not relevant to your page, and don’t put paid links on a page with a high PR if the site you are promoting is not relevant to the page content. Better to sell link, sell a complete page with interesting reading content about the product your client is selling, it won’t look as if the client paid, and everybody will be even more happy.

Yes, Google Admits Torching Your PageRank

Paid links proved the PageRank undoing for search professionals as well as for prominent sites like The Washington Post, but only recently did Google confess to doing this.

The flaming wreckage of Google’s update took down several sites a couple of PageRank notches. Though it looked like an intentional change, that hadn’t been confirmed.

Yes, Google Admits Torching Your PagerankUntil now, that is. Search Engine Journal heard from Matt Cutts about the update, which has had numerous online industry pros in a tizzy. Said Matt:

The partial update to visible PageRank that went out a few days ago was primarily regarding PageRank selling and the forward links of sites. So paid links that pass PageRank would affect our opinion of a site. Going forward, I expect that Google will be looking at additional sites that appear to be buying or selling PageRank.

The PageRank plunge has been painfully obvious to people like Andy Beard and Darren Rowse. It puts an image of an old joke about morale in our minds: “the beatings will continue until morale improves.”

As for PageRank improving, there aren’t any instructions about that. But paid links won’t be in the equation, it seems.

Google filing bankruptcy? Deadline December 2007?

[NEW YORK - Wednesday] – by Devon Melk. Rumors are now running amok that the 2nd most powerful website on the entire Worldwide-Web may file BANKRUPTCY, with the deadline set for this December, 2007; being the date of both discharge and dissolution in a Federal Court of Law.

This would come as a SHOCK to investors and “Googlers” alike who both profit and benefit from the use of the World’s largest and most powerful search engine which receives far in excess of 100 MILLION unique daily visitors and well over 300 million individual searches daily – making it perhaps the single most
valuable public data resource as an “information bank” online the world over.

But is the rumor true or false?

The origin of the rumor occurred when some savvy Internet marketers began making statements that they had heard “insiders’ talk” that the company (now publicly traded since April 30, 2004, just over 3 years ago) may face financial disaster with the release of a “new system” that would allow advertisers to get their otherwise pay-per-click (PPC) advertising completely free.

This, of course, would naturally lead directly (like a domino-effect) to the collapse of Google’s sibling program AdSense; as its only revenue comes from the direct sales of AdWords “clicks.”

The “new system” in question and responsible for the controversy over getting AdWords pay-per-clicks free is that developed by Dr Jon Cohen of New York City, New York (now retired) who discovered a simple, yet effective means, for getting Google PPC ads without having to suffer the costs involved.

The retired New York doctor and native has a publicly disclosed net worth now in excess of $70 million [US], having generated well over $377 million in product sales from sixteen (16) separate online businesses within just nine (9) years since first venturing online in 1998 (about the same time as Google was founded).

It is estimated by company insiders and leading financial analysts that the “good doctor” (as he’s called by “all who know him”) has purportedly saved well over $93 million (some estimates suggest closer to $136 million) in otherwise paid advertising at Google and the other major players in the PPC targeted-search arena online – including Yahoo, MSN, AskJeeves, AllTheWeb.com, HotBot, AltaVista, Lycos and Netscape, just to name a few.

The “secret” became available to the general masses last April 2007, earlier this year; and its very release caused such a major sweeping stir among the community of Internet-marketers, affiliate-marketers, webmasters, ecommerce company owners and surfers alike that the site quickly rose to break the top most visited 1,000 websites on the entire planet briefly; and as can be
seen here:

http://alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?url=GetGoogleAdsFree.com

When asked if the “secret” would somehow ruin Google, Dr Cohen revealed almost cryptically that it actually would bring about just the opposite effect, and “stimulate” even more business volume for the virtual giant.

Many people were dismayed to find that Google itself is deliberately allowing the purchase of 100,000′s of PPC ads offering the secret system to the general public — which indicates to most observers that either they [Google] haven’t caught it, or they simply feel that it somehow is not a threat to their continued operation.

For anyone’s inspection factual and hard evidence supporting this can be seen by simply looking to the right-hand column when doing a search for “get google ads free” (specifically in quotation marks) at Google.com under the “Sponsored Links” section.

Or take this direct and instant SHORTCUT:

Google “Get Google Ads Free” search

You can also see nearly 100,000 specific results in the “organic” fields index located in the center and which occupies the bulk of the results pages.

One would think that if Google felt threatened by such a release as this earth-shaking “secret” is, they would hardly allow for either paid-ads or organic content to make the top searches regarding it.

However, evidence supports to the contrary – and this being the case now for a full six (6) months.

Mysteriously, within just two (2) hours of its initial release last April, Google itself actually did in fact ‘pause’ the parent firm’s attempts at advertising the new system using PPCs on their search engine – only, however, to release the hold after a Review Team consisting of some of Google’s top executives completed performing an in-depth investigation and made the determination to ALLOW the ads to run.

The secret system was recently revised however to include “major new content” and “more exhaustive instructions,” and is now available at its Home Site:

free google ads

The most important addition is that of a so-called “string of code” (tech-talk for some HTML) that can be added to any webpage(s) that instantly causes the elimination of the page owner’s AdWords costs right away.

Even a “live” woman spokes-representative (“Rachel”) has been added to the site, and who appears to literally walk out onto the webpage and talk to visitors and explain a bit more how the mysterious new breakthrough system works.

Since the addition of this new “live” spokes-woman has now appeared at the site, company Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mr Todd Coutrin states that “sales for the system have skyrocketed above 2,430% suddenly and with no limit in sight.”

Coutrin continues: “With the newest revision now in place, plus all the additions added, affiliates for the new system can expect to earn even more than ever before!” (Note: Affiliates make up the bulk of the firm’s sales generation.)

The refund rate for the new revised version of the secret (named V5.1) has dropped to less than half of what it was before the newer version’s release; meaning it’s now even more readily-received and put to use than ever before (perhaps in large part to the newer simplicity of application) – now making it the safest and one of the best resellers for the networks of affiliate marketers who earn their revenues from the reselling of other electronic publishers’
stock and digital product lines.

When asked, Google company representatives stated matter-of-factly that the rumors of bankruptcy for the ecommerce giant are simply not true, and that the rumor millings are in fact simply the result of “panics” brought on by the usual hysteria associated with anything large, new or revolutionary – or in this case, all three.

Attempts to contact both Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the former Stanford University students who founded Google in 1998, to request comment were unsuccessful.

Again, Google itself seems to be the biggest supporter of the “new system” as it’s allowing more and more advertisers to promote the new system on its search engine before over 100 million daily searches and surfers.

Adsense Manage Ads but what about the channels when you have many websites ?? And why are the chanels count not showing up properly ?

By David Norden, www.secretmarketinglinks.com
On 29 october the problems are already solved since 2 days.

Custom channels up and running again

Over the past few days, some publishers let us know that they were unable to view any data for their custom channels. Our engineers have now resolved the issue, and they’re currently working on including the missing data from the past few days. Your custom channels should now be tracking data as normal. Please be assured that your aggregate reports, which are used to calculate payments, have not been affected.

Thanks for your patience, and for bringing this issue to our attention!

It is already two days that my daily totals aren’t showing up properly? The totals aren’t in line with the chanels, some of my chanels dissapeared? See the image below . Maybe it does have something to do with change code they are planning?? If you have an idea please send me a message at the bottom of this page…

adsense earning bug

The Inside AdSense blog announced that they will be releasing a new ad management solution to enable code-free ad changes.

New AdSense for content ad units design will be saved in your AdSense account every time you generate ad code.

In the future, all you will need to do is make the change in the AdSense console and the changes will be automatically applied to your live ads.

It is not yet live, but when ot will be, you will see under the “AdSense Setup” a new section link to “Manage Ads.” .

I strongly hope they will implement design changes only on request and not in an automatic way on all your ads, and that the changes can be done in relation with the channels. Otherwise for people like me with tens of sites, and 10′s of different designs on each site, the “Adsense change code free” would become a nightmare.

But I trust the guys at Google enough, to know they are smart, and they are listening to the webmasters objections.

On the screenshots provided by Google I don’t see a channel change possibility, only the size, so this certainly needs to be fixed before the launch in my humble opinion.

CRM projects fail because users say ‘no thanks’

The bottom line is that sales representatives and, to a lesser extent, marketing professionals, just aren’t using the technology, and that non-adoption is leading to failure.

You need to have enough value in the system for end users to make it irresistible for them to use it.

“I do think we can point to the sales organisation that’s probably facing the most challenges with adoption,” said AMR senior research analyst Robert Bois. “The same could probably be said for marketing as well.

The research firm recently surveyed 190 IT and line-of-business executives and found that 29% of CRM projects fail. That’s slightly better than the 31% failure rate AMR Research uncovered in 2006, but it’s much worse than the 18% rate discovered in 2005.

Last June Forrester Research reported that less than 50% of the 94 business and IT executives it surveyed were fully satisfied with their CRM deployments. When Forrester asked those executives to list their best practices for improving their CRM implementation, 66% said promoting user adoption was a top priority.

Bois said sales and marketing professionals reject CRM mainly because it’s just not easy to use.

“That’s all relative,” Bois said. “What you and I might think of as a fairly simple user interface might not seem as simple to a salesperson who spends as much time as possible on the phone with customers and doesn’t have time to be fooling around with a piece of software.”

Bois said sales representatives also reject CRM because it just doesn’t offer any value to them. CRM and sales force automation systems will ask sales representatives to enter a lot of data, but the technology doesn’t always help them do their jobs better. Instead, much of the data they enter into these systems offers value to only managers who are trying to track and forecast sales activity.

“CRM and sales force automation as discrete software categories were initially designed to appeal to sales management, not the sales user,” Bois said.

The root of the problem

Jim Prevo, CIO of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters said poor user adoption is a symptom of a problem, not the root cause of CRM failure.

“You need to have enough value in the system for end users to make it irresistible for them to use it,” Prevo said. “If you put in a system that is primarily about monitoring their behaviour rather than putting in a tool that is about maximising their behaviour, they are not going to see those tools as absolutely essential. Once you do that, you’ll get adoption. And adoption is critical.”

Prevo said his company has adopted CRM technology from PeopleSoft. When he was preparing to roll it out, he made sure the company’s sales organisation was a part of the process.

“We pulled the salespeople into the room with someone from PeopleSoft and made sure it was a business process intervention and not a technology startup,” Prevo said. “Sales forces don’t think of business process. It was very helpful to have someone who really understood the tool in the room.

Another CIO, who asked for anonymity, said his company’s first attempt at using CRM technology was a failure. He said he adopted sales force automation technology from Salesforce.com, using features such as account and contact management, opportunity tracking and Web reporting.

“Our CRM implementation has been rocky and, in my opinion, is still not where it needs to be to justify the expense we’ve put into it,” he said.

Senior managers thought they could bypass key managers who weren’t supportive of the initiative and simply float the technology out there without getting hard-nosed about compliance.

“The results were, at best, uneven,” he said. “Most importantly, one of the people bypassed was the vice president of sales. This was a key strategic error. Managers and reps could tell that their leader was not on board, and thus figured that compliance was optional.”

His organisation also failed to consider the realities of his company’s salespeople, leaving them with a program that didn’t fit their needs.

While his first try at CRM failed, his CEO was still supportive of the project. With that backing, he took a new approach.

“The vice president of sales became the sponsor and advocate for the system,” he said. “We had to overcome a lot of false perceptions and hurt feelings to get him there. But now he’s a believer. We re-launched the product, addressing key complaints the field had about the system, including new equipment and increased training. And the message was sent, loud and clear, that this is a required part of doing business. If you don’t like it, you might need to consider employment elsewhere.”

Things have improved with the company’s second go-round, but he has yet to get 100% compliance from his sales force.

Sales metrics

Bois said the CRM market is reacting to this problem by shifting its approach to offer more value to the end user.

“The most common thing you’ll see is they’re starting to put performance metrics in so the salesperson knows how they’re performing against their quota. ‘If I’m gong to close this deal in the next 30 days, what would that mean for my quota?’ Ultimately, it is giving them better visibility into their ability to meet their quota.”

Bois said some vendors are also offering applications such as proposal management for more complex sales cycles. These technologies use a wizard-like interface to ask basic information about sales prospects. Then, in conjunction with marketing, the application creates an automated custom proposal to help them attract the prospect.

Bois said CIOs need to get sales executives more involved in the procurement of CRM technology. And CIOs should resist just accepting the latest CRM offering from their ERP vendors. Instead, they should try a third party for this technology. In fact, they should consider letting the sales executive take the lead. This isn’t such a hard thing to do with the emergence of Software as a Service vendors such as Salesforce.com. The sales executive knows his staff better than the CIO does. The CIO can take on a more consultative role to make sure the implementation and any necessary system and data integration go smoothly.

Blogging has been around for a few years now. Most people use blogs to record their thoughts and lives, while the select few use them as a free way to make a fortune.

Did you know this sitewas made with WordPress ? And did you know this site was made to inform and help you ? But did you also know that when you are really excited about a product I speak about, and visit a link, it often brings me money in my pockets when you buy the product ? If you answer No, then you will be interested in the article below.

If you answered yes, you probably already follow some of the tips that are in Blogging to the Bank 2.0 and the article bellow will give you some new insights.

The following was found at NewKerala oct 2007

One guy who uses this to his advantage is Rob Benwell. Last year he dished the dirt on the tips and tricks to making a fortune using blogging. But as time passes the old systems become obsolete and new techniques are required. This is where his brand new, fresh off the press blogging to the bank 2 system comes into play.

For those who know who Rob Benwell is like me, you’ve probably made a killing using blogs.

For those who don’t, he’s the story:

Back in 2005 he was struggling to make any profit online, had dropped out of college and was getting deep into debt. He was trying all the techniques the gurus tell you and wasn’t getting anywhere fast. All of that went in the bin and he started using his own techniques and started making more and more money using simple blogs. In early 2006 he shared this with the world and had a great ebook called blogging to the bank. Tons of people got rich from using these techniques (including me). He then spoke at Online Marketing Legend Yanik Silver’s underground Seminar where he revealed even more of his underground strategies.

But as I said earlier, the techniques used in that ebook are now showing there age. Some of them are not even working in the slightest! This is where blogging to the bank 2 comes into play.

It’s full of great new techniques that work online right now! Everything’s explained in plain English with all the fluff cut out. I got hold of an advanced copy of the book for a much higher price than what it actually sells for and it has been worth every single cent! I got it in the afternoon and by the evening I was creating new profitable blogs. Within a couple of hours of them being active I had made a nice little profit.

Blogging To The Bank 2 teaches you Robs new step by step blueprint to creating highly profitable long term niche blogs using the newest optimization techniques. There’s even a section on advanced Search Engine Optimization. Most people think SEO is difficult but Rob explains this nice and simply so even the blogging newbie will understand it.

Blogging to the Bank 2.0
is a breath of fresh air and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make easy money online.
