I was quite astonished this morning when I opened my mail box to receive a 353$ check from Linkshare. I even did not remember having subscribed for there services. So I looked up what this company was on the internet, and discovered it is the same as Commission Junction .

I don’t like so much the system, since you have to select the merchants and they have to approve you, what can often be tedious since many merchants selects the affiliates by GEO-targeting.

I guess this time I got a check from someone who followed a linkshare link on my diamonds news site, but I still am not sure.

They also wrote on my check I could request a wire transfer, but did not discover how to do so, since the only possibility in my account seemed to be check payments.

My advice if you want to work with linkshare is to create your affiliate account, to choose a product you feel interested in yourself, and create a page around it on your site. If you have no inspiration you can always write to the advertisers, they will gie you free press releases, and maybe some youtube video also like the one you can see below on the linkshare awards they give them to the advertisers. So I guess the top affiliates get another party ?

Anyhow I was happy with check. Do you want to get one to? Just join, choose your products and create some pages on your sites related on what you do.
