My secret SEO tools

Thank you for having joined my list. To welcome you please find below the secret tools that make my life more easy.

The most secret SEO tool will be someone in the philipines who can replace yourself for 200-400 $ a month while you concentrate on networking and doing the more valuable things and creating your organisation.

Try to focus on money making activities more than on leaning new skills.

Invest in your tools more than in shinny courses.

Free Music if you need intro’s for your videos that sound professional::

The most important factor to get high level traffic is to laser target the pages you create around one good keyword for each page, don’t forget to include the metatag description with a somewhat longer phrase containing your main keyword(s) for that page. There is no point of building pages with a content nobody is looking for.

Every one knows about wordtracker, lastly they removed the free version with the KEI but did you know they also have a free enhanced version that allow you to check if the competition is not to hard, try the Gtrends tool from Wordtracker when you see a long tail word that you like, click on the G and see if there is a green bar. Don’t bother to much about the amount of unique daily page views, you don’t need  hundred a day, everything above 10 is welcome to me. Also you can use the sidebar recommendation to buid up a list of related keywords.

I also use the free www.trafficuncut.com/keywordtool.exe a free insider little software that showed really valuable to find keywords with low concurency on Google (just look at how much competion pages there are) the fast way (it is the same tool than the one you can get  together with another bunch of tools at Keyword Buzz )

To discover secret trends:

Simply head to ebay pulse, Yahoo Buzz, or Google Trends to
identify that kind of hot topics.

http://pulse.ebay.com/ Everybody knows that Ebay is the internet’s biggest eCommerce site. The top products lists provided in the Pulse report shows you the most in demand products in the world’s largest online store.

http://buzz.yahoo.com/

http://www.google.com/trends

http://shopping.com/top_searches Just pick out the category you are interested in. You’ll find the Top 100 products that are people are buying, AND even more importantly, the actual search terms people are using to find theses products. This information is pure Gold.

www.amazon.com Best Sellers Books Dept. Click on “Shop All Departments”, then click on any product category and then click on the “Bestsellers” link at the top of the page. In the “Books” section, click on “Bestsellers”, and then in the left navigation column, click on “Non-Fiction ”. These resources will give you endless ideas for new products to promote via your eCommerce store. If you do your research right, you can be almost 100% sure that you will be successful before ever adding the first product to your site.

For specific books you can also go to see inside the book, and right click on the image to find related keywords. Also you can for most books see the table of content that will give you very interesting related keywords, you can’t find with eg. Wordtracker.

more tools include:

Map your keywords with this engine: http://www.kwmap.net/

To find content I often use Google News it is very easy to personalise the home page around you main keywords interest, and use Google alerts to be informed when new aricles are posted. This is the best tool to stay ahead of the information game, and it is quite easy to transform the content using your own words, or take some extract and mention your source. Also newspaper usually remove the content after a few days so even if you copy and paste the content and mention a link back you often won’t have duplicate problems or copyright infringment claims, but always better to say it with your own words.

I also use the new search engine http://www.cuil.com/ made buy a few ex-Google employees since it give a fresh look and helps finding pages you don’t see in Google.

To find some good expired domains:

But first, did you know there are previously used domain names available for just the cost of the domain registration fee?

Believe it or not, sometimes the previous owner does not pay the renewal fee, or has lost interest in the domain. Then the domain expires.

When domains expire they become fair game for anyone to snap up, but you’ve got to register them before somebody else does…

This means you can buy the targeted traffic very inexpensively. The previous owner has done all the work and you can now take over and use the visitor traffic and reputation of the site in your project.

http://www.registercompass.com/ Each and every day there are more than 30,000 new domains registered. There are also 2,000 domains that expire every day. Don’t miss out on yet another day of not staking your claim to undervalued expiring domains. Or if you prefer to discover an available domain name based on the keywords you need use this free domain software : http://www.domainpunch.com/products/dna/#download

Get a free video tutorial to install a new domain on a resellers account with Cpanel

My site was created with WordPress, It is easy to use once you know the shortcuts how to install the plugins and free templates are found, it is easy to change layout, but you also must change the way links are showed so that they include the description of the titles in the URL to make it more SEO friendly ( I guess you did not guess this site was created with wordpress on first view)

If you will create an Ebook you probably will need some support system, no need to spend money on this  free php  helpdesk script

A free instant squeeze page generator (but you’ll need to go through the upsells – a real pain in the A**)

To make money I advise the use of CPA (cost per action) networks
DirectLeads – Make Money!

To index your site you can try KnowboForm Website Submission Tool that will semi-manually post your articles or sites and give you links back, it is free till end 2009 and you should join the forum to gain access.

Article Directories are good to get search engine traffic and human traffic

  • Ezinearticles.com A nice function here to discover high traffic keywords is to enter one of your keywords to search for articles, than visit one of the articles and below the page see the most viewed articles, than determine wich keyphrase it uses, it is usually a long tail one that has not to much competition.
  • zimbio.com and Xomba.com are two less known directories examples. I posted articles on both sites and my article was on the top ten in a matter of hours by Google.

Video Directories

To Submit one video in one go, there are tools on the Net available.

Social BookMarking Sites

Rss Aggregators are a very important tool to get plenty of one way link backs to your site from authority sites. Like the new BadRss free tool site from Peter Drew (creator of the Brute Force SEO tool)

Hope you’ll enjoy, stay in touch…
